Zero Waste Herbal Teas!

Just put powder in a cup & pour hot water on! No teabag, just minor amount of ‘dregs’ to leave in cup (varies with herb texture). Also save so much money on packaged teabags.

Groundcover raspberry Rubus tricolor including the cultivar ’Betty Ashburner’ which will cross-pollinate your tricolor to produce berries. Note these are vigorous plants, spreading rapidly by rooting tips (like a bramble). Only suitable for large spaces where you want groundcover with edible berries. A pair to cross-pollinate £9. The pair available later in Spring.

Capsules and Loose Herbs

I can supply herbs, e.g. 100 capsules for £10, subject to a consultation. This may be possible via some brief questions (free), a 15-20 minute discussion (£20) or it may need a full consultation (£60). Some well-known herbs I can supply include turmeric, triphala, brahmi, ashwangandha and much more. I can also supply an immunity formula, support an ayurvedic cleanse and address many ailments. Advice may include diet, lifestyle and yoga.

Nourishing Hair Oil with Brahmi and Amla suitable for all hair types and colours. Made from the finest quality hand-selected Brahmi herb, Amla fruit and cold pressed sesame oil. This recipe has been revered for centuries in Ayurveda for shining, full-bodied and tangle free hair. According to ayurveda, regular head massage with sesame oil, can help nourish the scalp, relieve headaches, prevent hair loss/ premature greying, strengthen hair roots, calm the mind and enhance the quality of sleep.

Chyawanprash an authentic vegan Ayurvedic herbal jam. Think though not just jam but tonic, cleanser (if used as a drink) and health product. Chyawanprash has been cherished in ancient Ayurvedic texts for over 5000 years, often referred to as the ‘elixir of life’. It is traditionally used for debility, old age, convalescence, cough, immunity, lungs, complexion and a strengthener for the blood, heart, lungs and kidneys, generally promoting vitality and health.

It contains over 30 natural ingredients from the Himalayas and elsewhere in India – fruits, herbs, spices. Chyawanprash is high in Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.

Dried kombu

Kombu (kelp) – Laminaria digitata edible seaweed harvested on the South Devon coast. Dried.

Can be used in soups, stews, casseroles and as a substitute for lasagne! Ideally re-hydrate before cooking and then cook for a minimum of 30 minutes. Can be soaked overnight with pulses and cooked with them.

Kelp has many vitamins, minerals and other constituents including iodine, calcium, potassium, iron, sodium, chromium, protein, mannitol, phosphorus, alginate, fucoidan, laminarin, mannitol sugar, carotene, phosphorus, germanium, phytohormones, vitamins A, C, D, E, K and complex B vitamins. It is often regarded as a superfood.

Home made smudge sticks with white sage grown by me (in the wild white sage is over-harvested) & wild harvested mugwort . Dried aromatic herbs tied together with New Zealand flax – all natural. Smudge sticks are used for burning (light then blow out the flames) to help clear negative energy – a tradition from indigenous cultures. £out of stock
